~ Notes from Nightingale ~

A Profound Peace ~ Last Thursday, 16 October, I was taking my daily walk along the water and some very interesting things happened on this particular walk.  First, as I neared the water, I beheld a large flock of birds swirling round and round right above me, as if to great me, and I observed them and motioned them to join me as I continued on my walk.  Sure enough, they seemed to follow me whilst circling round and round above me for what seemed the longest time.  They seemed to catch my telepathy that I was acknowledging them and inviting them to carry on with me.  I love these seabirds; although I could not tell you what kind of birds they were.  They’re not gulls and their call is completely different.  I’ll have to look them up on line and see what I can find out about them.  They’re lovely and magical, indeed.

Then, as I approached the Monroe Bridge and started walking across, I noticed that a profound peace had come over me.  No longer was I thinking about the chemtrails saturating our skies … or the challenging state of affairs in our world … or my health challenges…  All of that melted away and I was reminded of that special state that I’ve experienced during my NDEs and STEs (spiritually transformative experiences) where I experienced being totally one with all life and with the LightSource.  I was completely enveloped in love and the ‘peace that surpasses all understanding’ — my being so calm and with the stillness that accompanies such a state.  There was no particular event that triggered this — not at all — but just another day and another walk, that’s all.  But this peace definitely caught my attention … and of course I didn’t want it to ever end.  It was surreal and I wasn’t about to question what was going on.  I’d look into the sky and see the beautiful clouds with the setting sun illuminating them with a glorious pink and violet colour.  With every step I took, I savoured this profound peace and, at least for time being, entered the realm where I could know with certainty that everything is evolving as it should…

Through this I was reminded, in spite of everything that’s going on in our world, that Love is still everywhere and that we are not alone, that we are being protected and guided at all times … and that love really will prevail.

Alas, we never know when we’ll be blessed with such a transformative experience, but I really want to remind you that nothing special needs to occur and no ‘incident’ is required for one to have an STE … but this is just a reminder that the divine is with us at all times - however you may refer to it.  So please take heart and remember that you are loved at all times.

Light On The Water ~ I’ve got some tremendous news for you.  For several weeks now, I’ve felt compelled to consolidate my on-line groups that are on Google and Yahoo into a more comprehensive and accommodating site where the members can really be proactive and have many options available to them.  Well, this vision finally came to pass when I created the LOTW community on a whole new site here.  Of course, being the night owl that I am, I worked on developing it through the night and, to my utter surprise and delight, people flocked to join — generating over 20 members in ONE day alone!  And more people are joining at this very moment.  So please go there now and feel free to join, as there’s no charge and there are some amazing souls and resources there already.

And speaking of LOTW, we had a wonderful turnout at our first local meeting this past Saturday, 18 October at the Victorian Station Tea Room.  There were seven of us altogether, enjoying tea and treats and engaging in animated and heartfelt dialogue for over two hours.  It was tremendous!  Our next local LOTW meeting will be on Saturday, 15 November from 1-3P ET at the tea room.

Meanwhile, our ‘virtual’ LOTW meeting will take place this Saturday, 25 October from 9-11P ET.  I’m sorry that that’s a bit late for our UK and European friends, but we’d not had calls outside of North America to this point and this was the time that worked best for most attendees who’ve participated thus far.  The number to ring in for the teleconference is 712.775.7100 ~ access code is 512070# ~ and I encourage you to ring in and enjoy the same support and resources enjoyed by attendees to our local meetings.

An Apology ~ Last Sunday, we were to have Steve Mitchell on Toward The Light, but, due to technical difficulties and problems with the servers/telephone networks, we were unable to reach Steve, which meant that I had to be on the air alone.  ‘Going it alone’ is never my preference by any means - but I had to trust that everything happens for a reason and I simply surrendered and flowed.  I ended up revamping some of the very special dialogue that we shared on the HAARP panel and I suppose that we can never iterate enough the power of the human spirit and of love - especially now when people need this encouragement and reminder the most!

This week, I’m so pleased to have Peter Shockey, writer, director and producer of the aware-winning film, Life After Life, back on TTL.  If you haven’t yet seen this film that’s based on the best-selling book by Dr. Raymond Moody, I definitely encourage you to purchase this film that’s available in DVD format and watch it.  It’s available for sale through Toward The Light and is a must-see!  I’ve been doing a lot of work with Peter and he and his wife, Stowe are dear and wonderful friends to me.  We met in Nashville when I lived there and you’ll find Peter on the LOTW community site as well.

Nothing ‘lukewarm’ here! ~ When I put up the announcement for the special panel broadcast on HAARP with David Icke, Cathy O’Brien, Mark Phillips and Alfred Webre on 12 October, it certainly did generate some strong responses and it was, indeed, no surprise.  What a contrast of responses or reactions they were as well … from statements like this: ‘…Hearing the strength of these people is giving me the courage to realise the strength of my own potential.  To never be afraid of the dark because I go in the knowledge that I am the one who lights it’ to this: ‘More and more fear everywhere I go. Be afraid of this and that until one might become afraid to leave the house. What I loved about your show was that the emphasis was always on love but it feels like it’s about fear first, then love. It makes me sad’.

(I noted that negative comments are always left by ‘anonymous’, strange.)

Here is what I stated to the one centred in fear: ‘If our exposing the dangerous agenda being imposed on us is about ‘fear’, my response to that conclusion is that it’s about warning or alerting people to the truth of what’s actually going on in this dimension, but more importantly, offering a ‘SOULution’ as Cathy O’Brien so rightly puts it. No, indeed, it’s NOT about fear in the least! That’s what we’ve got to move away from and, by all means, being centred in love—unconditional love… But knowing the truth, on the other hand, is what will ultimately set us free—just not getting stuck on the negative or frightening aspects of what’s going on. If we don’t acknowledge and face the challenges that are plaguing this world squarely, and instead fall into denial … or insisting that we look at everything through rose-coloured glasses, dear soul, we’re missing the point. We can’t remedy something or find resolve by going into denial. The whole idea, here, is to face what’s going on, but choosing not to participate in the imposed agenda and falling into the lower frequencies of fear. It’s imperative that we constantly work to raise our frequency into that of love and also to honour our own divine heritage. Alas, it is through love and awareness that we will be set free…’  And I later added: ‘If you listened to this panel of special guests, you’d hear (and will hear) us talking about love and the ’soulutions’ available to us all. We’re not going to focus on the ‘negative’—not by any means—nor have we ever done that on Toward The Light’.

Mark Phillips wasn’t able to join the panel for reasons beyond his control, but Alfred, David and Cathy shared so beautifully and eloquently from their own experiences and wisdom.  What’s interesting is that, yes, each of us did address what we know about HAARP and other things going on in this world, but the conversation was mainly focused and centred on the most positive input … such as Cathy pointing out that none of this can even touch the soul, our real self, and she also never fails to point out that these entities or ‘Shadow People’ as David calls them, are ‘flat thinkers’ who cannot fathom the power of the human spirit or of love; they do not possess empathy in any way whatsoever. Consequently, they cannot triumph over us in any way—also because they’re operating on such a low frequency within a very tiny spectrum.

In fact, the dark ones are so desperate at this point, because people are waking up en masse, that they’re trying everything they can to squelch the love and the light, but they will never succeed.  I know this from the depths of my being, because this was also revealed to me during my NDEs and other spiritually transformative experiences.  There was NO question that everything is evolving exactly the way it should and I can honestly say that I was utterly and completely free of fear and at peace. Cathy is also a multiple NDEr and she knows this as well.  This is a lady who’s been through unspeakable trauma throughout her life at the hands of the highest government leaders … yet she’s a shining example of the power of divine intervention.  She is a radiant being who’s so full of love and joy and is truly inspired.  She’s healed remarkably from what she’d endured and is, indeed, a living testament to the power of the human spirit and of love.

Then David, bless him, was talking about the fact that he’s got no need for external protection—having no bodyguard and travelling throughout the world in the knowing (something beyond mere faith) that he is divinely protected and that no one has got the power to bring him down or take him out until he’s ready to leave this plane!  He spoke with such clarity and conviction and with passion.

Alfred was sharing such positive insights about the future of humanity—both from a scientific and intuitive vantage point.  He’s a wonderful combination of the lofty and scientific mind-set all rolled into one.  I was so excited and pleased by what he had to share, I could hardly contain myself!

I was so high after the show.  Alas, Cathy repeatedly pointed out the necessity of being aware of what’s going on here—what we’re dealing with on this plane—so that we can take responsibility, become proactive and make the positive changes we want to see manifest on this plane.  When we remember our own divinity and claim back our power, it’s amazing what we, as a powerful and truly light-filled species, can accomplish.  Alfred was also pointing out what a special and galactic species we are that is moving into a whole new reality of being.  Indeed, we have got so much to look forward to.

The love and the optimism held by all of us was profound … and it was so easy to share not only the truth of what is taking place in our world, but the tremendous hope and opportunity that await us in future! These dear souls are such endearing examples of the triumph of love over fear and, when we can remember Who we are … and our divine heritage, nothing whatsoever can render harm or destroy us in any way. And the times that we are living in now are providing a tremendous opportunity to prove that very fact!

A Bundle of Love ~ When I think of the four individuals who are going to be on Toward The Light this Sunday, 12 October, I find myself in such a state of awe. Not only are Alfred Webre, David Icke, Cathy O’Brien & Mark Phillips so wise and well-informed—not to mention, courageous and dedicated souls—they are so centred in love and full of compassion. I hold them very close to my heart as not only friends, but ones I regard as family. These people I would do anything for; that’s how much I love and revere them. There’s so much love between the lot of us and love is the driving force here.

Yesterday, whilst out on my daily walk along the water, I looked up into the sky and saw …chemtrails! They were all over the skies here above the Tidewater region of Virginia. I was heartsick, as I’d not remembered seeing them round here since I’ve been here. It broke my heart to realise, once again, that the agenda behind the chemtrails (which is connected to HAARP) is ultimate genocide. Of course, in my way of thinking, I cannot even imagine the notion of wanting to destroy any life form whatsoever—least of all a human being! But the ugly truth is the fact that there are mean-spirited entities whose only interest is to destroy most of human life and using the remainder as slaves—to conquer and control this entire planet and all of its resources. As Cathy O’ so rightly points out, however: these are ‘flat’ thinkers who cannot fathom the power of the human spirit or of love … any more than I can fathom their notion or will to destroy! It’s got me reeling … to say the least! But there IS hope … and that’s why we’re here … so take heart, please!

So what was the catalyst that brought about having this special panel on Toward The Light? It’s an interesting story, indeed. David Icke has pointed out how our worst nightmares are actually gifts that ultimately serve us. Well, here’s a good example of this truth: I was critically ill earlier this year in Spring and in such agonising pain that I thought I could ‘pop my clogs’ at any minute! Indeed, we were wondering if I might do so for sure! My daughter, DJamil, actually had to come up to spend time with me, I was in that bad of shape. She even said, “Mum, you look like you’re being tortured!” And I replied, “I feel like I’m being tortured!” it was absolutely horrific!

Something was definitely wrong, here, and it was something that led me to really probe and pray for answers. Suddenly, a queer sort of question arose in my mind—perhaps intuition bringing this to the fore. The question was: has HAARP got something to do with this?—referring to the severity of the pain that was being inflicted on me—spiking at different intervals and causing me to outright scream in agony and go into convulsions that were out of control. I just knew in my being that there was more going on than just my being very ill and in pain. I felt something very dark and foreboding—even sinister—and I knew that I needed to be keenly aware.

Talk about synchronicity, two days later, I found an eMail in my in-box from Alfred Webre with his Exopolitics Radio as he was announcing some special shows that he recently broadcast about …HAARP! (See more info here.) He had interviewed scientist Leuren Moret in a special three-part series and I was blown away by what they revealed about HAARP—answering my own intuitive question and my realising that I wasn’t merely being ‘paranoid’ but that there was really something to this! How auspicious and timely this was, to say the least!

I had to jump on this; I knew that I was on to something now. I knew that David, Mark & Cathy were also very well-informed about HAARP and it occurred to me that I should have a panel on my radio show to discuss this. I approached Alfred Webre about this and he thought it was a fantastic idea and was only all too pleased to oblige to be a part of the panel. Then I approached David Icke, then Mark & Cathy and there was no hesitation in their enthusiastically opting to be on the panel. It was so easy and I was elated, to say the least. All I could conclude is that it was meant to be … and part of the divine plan.

So what would prompt these special souls to so willingly jump to be on a panel on my humble radio show? I’m not famous and I’m certainly not rich—far from! But I believe they not only felt the urgent need to get the truth out there to the masses, they also knew my heart … and the purity of my intent. It’s about the love and the urgent need to share this truth and spread the love far and wide … in order to counteract this dreaded threat to our very lives and the life of the earth herself! With love, and as we awaken, we can turn all of this around and heal our world and all life; it’s not too late!

Even as I sit here now, I’m well aware of the fact that something could happen to me at any moment … or anyone else in this little group for that matter … but whatever happens, if I am ultimately sacrificed for the greater good … then it is well worth it to me. I’m willing to take these risks in order to fulfil the mission I was repeatedly sent back from my NDEs to do. That’s my calling and I am true to it … because it’s about unconditional love—that which will heal this weary planet!

Alas, I am still quite ill and struggle on a daily basis. However, regardless of what the culprit may be, I will continue to carry on the best I can do and take ‘Ickey’s’ beautiful example of not being daunted, regardless of the severity of the opposition or apparent threat. I was always a very timid soul, but have become quite daring in my older age and am now speaking out—come what may! After all, I was sent back to share the fact that life is eternal and that there is no death.

In spite of all appearances, when we shine the light of love into the faces of these mean-spirited so-and-sos, they’ll flee like cockroaches. Light pierces and eliminates darkness in an instant, but darkness cannot destroy the light. Love will prevail; otherwise, in purely logical terms, we would not have been brought here to permeate this darkness with love and light if that were not the case! Energy cannot be destroyed; it can only be rearranged. Thus Love is the Source behind all life and it’s important to keep focused on that light.

Alas, I’m pleased and honoured to have been used as a catalyst, via this huge and life-threatening nightmare, to bring these special souls together on this panel for a two-hour live broadcast this Sunday! You’ll definitely want to tune in to this show that’s sure to be riveting—to say the least! There is no question that you will feel an avalanche of love pouring out of your speakers, so enjoy and take heart.

It’s Fall!  Phew! ~ Some people seem to appear melancholy at the thought that summer is ebbing away and we’re now moving into the cool breezes and stunning colours of fall.  For me, this is a time to truly celebrate, as I cannot tolerate the heat and love the cooler climate and that which will afford me the opportunity to take long walks along the water any time I wish to now, and not just in eventide when it’s cool enough to do so.  I love having my communion with the water…

Somehow, it seems, too, that Fall has got a way of bringing people together and it’s a time of harvesting and feeling such joy and wonder for what has come our way.  It is a beautiful time of year and, in fact, my favourite time of year.  Everywhere there is such beauty to behold and it is a time to feel gratitude.

Stop and Smell the Flowers! ~ Alas, I realise that people—especially in America it would seem—are all caught up in the political chaos and the economic crash that’s taking place.  I’ve got to admit that I’m so very grateful that I’ve got NO television and do not follow this crazy madness that’s beset with disinformation anyway.  It was so rightly pointed out on WhatsUpOnPlanetEarth.com that we need to turn inward and focus on the positive that’s taking place: our spiritual awakening and evolution.  Let’s face it; the hard times and challenges we are faced with only work to force us to grow, evolve and heal.  Have you not noticed that it’s when disaster strikes that people tend to unite together and work for a common cause: that of recovery and resolve and the end result is a sense of unity and reaching a higher spiritual plateau.

I’m not sure why it is that human nature would require that a disaster strike before people are willing to come together rather than being isolated entities centred on apathy, indifference and insolence.  One of these days, we’ll start to see what we’ve got in common with one another … rather than our seeming differences. We are a global community and family and it’s time we regard every living being as sacred and worth our love—regardless of one’s outward appearance or behaviour.  The ones who are the darkest need the most love—true story!—as that is what will ultimately heal and transform our world and all who live upon it.

Remember, everything happens for a reason and is, indeed, in divine order—in spite of all outward appearances.  This was made so very clear to me during my near-death episodes.  Whilst on the Other Side, I had absolutely NO sense of fear or dread whatsoever.  In fact, I had the complete knowing that everything was/is evolving exactly the way it should and in divine order.  I was assured that everything would work out just fine … and that love would be the end result.

That’s part of why so many of us have had to go through these death episodes, so that we could tap in to our inner knowing and align with the LightSource and experience, first-hand, the truth of unconditional love.  Furthermore, this has led us to report back to the global community that, in a nutshell, life is eternal and only love is real … and all of this other stuff—all this madness and chaos—is actually serving to catapult us into becoming more authentic and to shed the ignorance and fear that’s had us in a stranglehold for far too long now.  We need to shed the old ways … so that we can merge with and return to our divine heritage and the Light.

Synchronicity! ~ In virtually the same block of time, I heard from two people in Wales—one from the BBC and another who’s written a powerful book and is participating in an event that’s being held in Massachusetts, USA.  I found this rather auspicious, really, as one was unaware of the other, but they both contacted me at virtually the same time.  And I had something very worthwhile to offer each of them and am sharing their requests herein.

(This one will be of particular interest to those of you who are in the UK, as she’s wanting subjects to interview on camera.)  Tammy Jones from the BBC states:

Rick Madison ~ I was born in 1961 in Jasper, Alabama. At six months of age, I fell off a sofa and went into a coma for six days.  Prayer ‘warriors’ in my family began to pray and intercede for me. God intervened in my behalf and brought me through.

At five years of age, I was shot at, several times, by a great uncle who had lost his mind. He shot my grandmother four times and Jesus raised her from her deathbed a week later. Jesus kept me safe, as I hid in the house. When I was eight years old, I was almost killed in a public laundromat. I was playing hide-and-seek with a friend. I had climbed into a large commercial dryer to hide. A group of thugs walked in and they saw me in the dryer. They braced the door shut and began searching for the proper change. One of the girls, who was with them, fought for me and begged the others not to start the machine. As they all left in a hurry, the girl ran back in and opened the door for me.

After many accidents and near-death experiences, I gave my life to Jesus at 10 years of age. I graduated from Leeds High School in Alabama in 1980. After finishing school, I was introduced to various drugs and alcohol. I stopped worshipping God and followed the world. However, God was still drawing me back to Him by His Spirit. At age 23, I had a very successful air-conditioning and heating business, but I did not have joy and peace.

My maintenance company repaired equipment and kept the health department happy for over 100 restaurants. Though I was making a lot of money, I was wasting it in the night clubs and party scene. I was headed for a rude awakening.

Visiting Death ~ On 13 April, 1986, I was involved in an car accident, a head-on collision. I was pronounced DOA at Vanderbilt University Hospital. I received numerous broken bones such as a broken neck, ribs, jaw, hip, and a crushed foot. I had a torn aorta artery, a ruptured spleen and a punctured lung. I remained in a coma for 27 days. Doctors advised my family to make funeral arrangements, but the ‘prayer warriors’ in my family believed Jesus could raise me up. I had an out-of-body experience. Jesus came to me and spoke to me. I sat up out of the coma. I walked out of a wheel chair ten weeks later. I was completely delivered from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco and filled with the Holy Ghost. I hope you get this complete testimony in my book entitled, Raised from the Dead or the cassette tape/CD entitled Walking Miracle Testimony. I studied under my pastor who also evangelised.

For an entire year, I watched, listened, studied the Bible, and learned how to flow in the Holy Spirit. I learned how to make alter calls, and pray for people to receive from God. I began evangelising in 1987 and started to travel, conducting revivals all across the United States. Many miracles occurred in my meetings and I started praying for people in their homes. As a result, I prayed for 16 people in comas and 14 have awakened! Six of those had been brain-dead. Often when God delivers you from something, he births that same kind of ministry in you.

It is so lovely to know that this individual has been granted the power to heal people through prayer and the laying on of hands—as Reiki and other energy healing practitioners do—and this is definitely not uncommon for NDErs.  While his belief system is very traditional and centred in fundamentalist Christian sentiments, I feel that his heart is in earnest … and he’s reaching people in his own circles that may not otherwise have been exposed to the NDE and the power of healing through faith and prayer.

Notes from Nightingale

Buried Treasures ~ Yesterday was a very exciting day for me in that I finally was able to unpack the [seemingly] countless boxes of books and put them on the newly acquired book shelves that were filled to near capacity!  I kept thinking of the books that have come to me as a result of doing the radio show and the exceptional people who authored them.  I paused to reflect and was feeling such a profound sense of gratitude and joy.  It’s nice to have these ‘buried treasures’ unearthed once again and accessible to me.  I also had to marvel at all of the marvellous work we’re doing collectively—to help inspire people into the realisation that we live forever and that there is no death and, therefore, nothing to fear.  I looked at these books with a sense of awe as I lovingly and reverently placed them on the shelves.  If any of you authors were aware of me, yesterday, it’s because I was beaming lots of love and acknowledgement your way—that which you truly deserve.  And, indeed, I want to extend my thanks to you for honouring your calling and participating in this special work.  Together, all of us can accomplish the work of moving the masses into a new paradigm that’s centred in love, our divinity and greatness, and truth … rather than in fear and feeling small and worthless.  We are all ‘Source Beams’ that are always connected to Source.  How could we not be?  If the sunbeams can never be separate from the sun and it’s light, how can we be separate from the LightSource?  So that’s part of the discovery that we’re engulfed in right now—discovering (or rather, remembering) Who we are.

In fact, I met a fuzzy black caterpillar last night and took her into my hand and greeted her.  ‘Look at you,’ I said.  ‘You’re going to become a butterfly at some point soon—as we all are—but you cannot even fathom what Butterfly is, can you?—having glorious wings and being able to fly!  Alas, none of us can fathom the tremendous being that we’ll be evolving in to, but you will … and we will … once it unfolds and takes place.  Bless you, little friend,’ I said as I gingerly set her back down in the grass where she’d be safe.  She reminded me to be aware of what our great potential is … and not to be caught in the fear and chaos of the changing and challenging times we’re now enduring in this illusory world.  The planet is going into labour, as it were, and being made ready for a new birth.  Hold on, everyone, and stay centred in love—whatever you do.  We can do this…

And speaking of people who are doing tremendous work in helping to bring the Truth into the light of day, my friend David Icke will be in California this weekend and my daughter, DJamil, will be there as well for a very special presentation that DI is giving in Santa Clara, California.  I will truly be with you in spirit, David & DJamil, but my body will have to remain here on the east coast as I’m endeavouring to recover from the health crisis that still plagues me and making it impossible to travel.  If you are aware of a wee sprite dancing on your shoulder, that’s me … and I love you dearly!

Kimberly Wencl

Kimberly Wencl is a wife to Roger and mother to Elizabeth and Anna and has been employed by SPX Corporation in Owatonna, Minnesota for 34 years—working in purchasing, sales, and customer service. Her present position is in International customer service. She says she lives a very ordinary life and loves every minute of it.

She has always been interested and fascinated by psychic phenomenon, near-death experiences, out-of-body experiences, and spirit communication. However, she had absolutely no personal experience with any of them.

That all changed on 20th September, 2003, when her daughter, 20-year-old University of Minnesota student, Elizabeth Wencl, died from an early morning fire at her duplex just blocks from the University. Kim now shares the truly amazing journey through the devastating loss of her daughter. She shares the premonitions she received prior to Liz’s death as well as the messages and signs she and others received from Liz after her death—ultimately leading her to Kathryn Harwig, an internationally-acclaimed author, teacher, trainer, attorney, intuitive and friend. ~ Notes from Nightingale ~

A Bridge-builder ~ I met MaAnna Stephenson whilst attending a Noetic Sciences meeting in Nashville a few years ago.  She approached me after my having given an announcement and, once we started talking, it was evident that we were kindred spirits.  She attended the FOI (Friends of IANDS) Nashville meetings that I facilitated—having had a spiritually transformative experience (STE), which she shared with the group.  It’s fair to say that she’s actually had a number of STEs and meeting me seemed to compliment her research into all this and helping enable her to better understand them on a deeper level and to share them. This also coincided with her initiation and growth in the realm of shamanism and other spiritual disciplines.  She has been an avid researcher of technical, scientific and New-Age thought.

With a strong creative and academic background—not to mention her having a healthy dose of curiosity—MaAnna has also been gifted with intuitive skills and lucid dreaming.  Because of this combination, she’s been catapulted into the work of bridging the gap between ‘science and intuition’–or, to use her words: ’Harmonising the full range of frontier science with current intuitive wisdom and practice’.   Her new book, The Sage Age is the outcome of this dedicated pursuit.

I cannot tell you the countless hours we’ve spent in dialogue together—even into the wee hours—picking each other’s brains, as it were, sharing ideas, experiences, resources and more.  There was also a good amount of humour and laughter thrown into the mix.  For me it has been tremendously refreshing to commune with someone who possesses depth and understanding on a number of levels and I am pleased to have come into MaAnna’s life at such an auspicious time and to witness the unfolding of her tremendous book.  To be a wise elder that she could turn to at any given time has meant a lot to me and taking her under my cosmic wing helped to facilitate the maturation of her own spiritual path and growth.  That’s a huge part of what I’m here for … and it has truly been an honour for me to be a part of this special and profound blossoming.

MaAnna Stephenson

MaAnna Stephenson ~ While currently known as a visionary thinker and new author, MaAnna Stephenson is a true Renaissance Woman. From an early age she was exposed to a myriad of influences, including her father’s engineering and artistic endeavours, her maternal line of intuitives, and an intrinsic fascination with sound and music. Born in the small town of Humboldt, Tennessee, MaAnna began her journey as the youngest of three children with a huge age gap between her siblings and herself. Constant inclusion in the world of adults led to an early maturity and perhaps a different view of the world than most children experience—especially with the special gifts of the adults in her family. None of it was lost on young MaAnna. “My mother was also an intuitive, as were all the women in my immediate family. Having psychic senses was quite normal and the information derived from these methods was respected and adhered to. I became accustomed quite early to the fact that there were things—forces and powers—which could not be measured with a ruler but were just as real as anything I could see or touch.”

An additional gift was bestowed by her paternal grandmother—the gift of music. Time spent at the organ with her grandmother, who was well known for her passion for music, ignited a flame in MaAnna as well. By the time she was a teenager, she was already a multi-instrumentalist and composer, exploring sounds and techniques with special interest in how they affected listeners spiritually and emotionally. Her advanced education continued this line of exploration as she attended Jackson State Community College and Lambuth University concurrently, double majoring in Music and Acoustics with a special apprenticeship at a local recording studio as a sound engineer.

MaAnna transferred to Jackson Area Vocational and Technical School, acquiring a degree in Electronics. This led to a prestigious job offer and subsequent move to Dallas, Texas in 1984. She continued her work in sound engineering and music with several international hits to her credit. After a decade in the big city, she accepted a field assignment in Nashville, Tennessee, where she has resided since.

It was in Nashville that she began her writing career with a short story triggering what she calls ’soul memories’. In response to her experience, MaAnna began her self-education in the fields of technical, scientific and New-Age thought, exploring ancient mysticism and the rational sciences with equal emphasis. After a five-year preparation period, she was initiated as a Shamanka (feminine for shaman). Her training for this initiation further contributed to her education process as she continued her studies in reconciling the rational sciences and the intuitive arts. This process has culminated in the writing of the newly released The Sage Age – Blending Science with Intuitive Wisdom.

While maintaining this intense pace, MaAnna has somehow found time to feed her inner artist, working in stained glass, wood carving and, of course, continuing to indulge her love of music. A member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, she considers herself a ‘bridge builder’ as well as an artist, composer, scholar and author. Her current focus on ‘new models for new thought’ is leading her to develop interactive classes that continue to explore the concepts in The Sage Age.

An Auspicious Weekend ~ As is typical of me, I’m a night owl and rarely get to bed before 2 or 3A, but I knew that I had a presentation to give in morning, which meant that I had to be up early.  I’d barely dozed off … when I was awakened by the sounds of strong wind and rain beating against my window.  Here’s the storm from Hurricane Hannah, I acknowledged to myself.  I was thinking, go figure that the storm would hit when I was giving a presentation at the Edgar Cayce ARE Centre!  The same thing happened when I last spoke there in December of 2003!  I flew down from Portland, Maine—where I lived at the time—and was stuck in Dulles Airport in Washington, DC both coming and going on that trip.  Going back, I was stuck in DC for two nights as flight after flight back to Portland was cancelled on account of the severe snow storm.  I’m the ‘bringer of storms’, I thought, and had to chuckle in amusement to myself.

Alas, it had only been the previous weekend that a huge flock of birds had landed in my yard—tweeting and carrying on as if in a huge party or convention of their own!  I looked out at them and asked them, ‘Are you giving me an indication of the turnout I’ll have for the upcoming presentation next week?’  There was such a happy, joyous energy surrounding these birds … and, indeed, there have been so many auspicious messages delivered by birds this year.  I had encountered eleven hawks whilst my daughter visited me a few months ago while still living in Vermont, and it was stunning and breath-taking, to say the least.

I got up and was ready when my ride arrived for me early on Saturday morning.  Even as Lloyd was driving me towards the ARE Centre, we spotted patches of blue sky.  Of course, I love the beautiful skyscapes and the beautiful patterns and images found in the clouds.  I was in awe.  It was beautiful!  I really didn’t mind the storm and there seemed to be no harm being inflicted on this area at all—certainly not to my awareness.

We started the presentation a little late in order to give people enough time to arrive due to driving in the wind and rain.  To my delight, I found the mini auditorium filling up!  People sat ready and alert and I was already feeling a sense of awe—that these people were coming to hear me speak!

I gave a two-hour presentation from 10A-12N that was centred on my NDEs and how they have impacted my life.  After a brief lunch break, I returned to the auditorium to give another two-and-a-half-hour workshop centred on intuition, telepathy and the nature of consciousness we come to know as multidimensional beings.  I was again in awe at how many people stayed for the workshop.  They were so attentive and asked wonderful questions during the Q&A session—which is actually my favourite part of any talk or workshop I give, because they remind me of things that are really worth noting … or details that I’d neglected to mention.  I always thank people for their wonderful and thought-provoking questions.  I delight in answering them from my heart and from experience.  I do believe that this is a great source of credible material that people can appreciate—especially since it’s coming from a place of experience and not just from hypothesis or academic study, etc.

I was so pleased to acknowledge several of the guests who’ve been on my radio show, Toward The Light—guests that have added a wealth of validation and meaning to my own experiences and the wisdom gleaned from them.  Hosting a radio show and having such a stellar roster of guests have been invaluable to me and I cherish all of my guests and the treasures they’ve ‘brought to the table’ to share with the world.  Alas, I also cherish my listeners throughout the world and am so honoured to share with them every week.

I must admit that I’m not a professional speaker—not by any means—but I do speak from the heart and from experience … because I was given this assignment whilst on the Other Side.  I’ve had to accept being on radio and television and in other media … and finally, to give public talks.  All I do is pray that I’ll deliver whatever message that particular group or audience needs and that which will inform, inspire and uplift them—removing all traces of fear and doubt in their minds about the nature of consciousness and what death is (or should I say what death isn’t?), because death really is an illusion!

After the presentation and workshop, people queued up and seemed to want more from this humble well.  I was in awe and felt so humbled by all of this.  Not only that, but I was asked to give more presentations that are now in progress of being booked.  I’m completely blown away, because, again, I’m not a ‘pro’ like my friends David Icke and PMH Atwater, for example, who have been tremendous role models for me that I hold in high esteem.  But, as one attendee pointed out to me, I shared from the heart and gave the people exactly what they needed.  And, in truth, that’s all that mattered.  I’m just a humble servant of the Light and my only wish is to give a message of truth and love as revealed through experience and the wisdom and inner knowing that is really inherent in all of us!  As I pointed out during the workshop, we are all little balls of radiant light—all little bits of the LightSource itself!  That is our heritage and our destiny: to move toward the Light which is our final Home…

I want to thank each and every one of those dear souls who attended my presentation last Saturday at the ARE Centre.  It was such an honour to share with you and to be back at the lovely venue where all of this work is held in high esteem.  The little birdies were right; there was a wonderful turnout of people and a fulfilling time was had by all.  Alas, even if only a handful of people had been present, it still would have been so well worth it to me in every way to be there for you.  I am deeply grateful to you and I welcome you reaching out to me any time you need to, because I am here for you.

Light On The Water ~  It’s here!  Finally, we are now conducting local LOTW NDE support and interest groups meetings on the third Saturday of the month from 1-3P at the Victorian Station Tearoom here in Old Phoebus ~ 36 N. Mallory Street, Hampton, Virginia!  I hadn’t held local meetings for nearly two years, but now I’m pleased to revive the local meeting here in an area where there is tremendous interest in the NDE and related experiences and topics.  While the VB IANDS is focused on speakers and giving presentations (where I just spoke last weekend), LOTW is more focused on intimate discussions where people can share their experiences, questions, concerns and ideals in an environment that’s loving, safe and supportive.  I’m pleased by the encouragement and support in re-establishing the LOTW meetings, so I hope you’ll join us on Saturday, 18 October from 1-3P.  On top of that, one can enjoy good tea and treats in the quaint tearoom of the Victorian Station.

Matthew Delooze

Matthew Delooze was abducted by aliens as a child. His experiences then have led him to uncover evidence that we are ruled covertly by reptilian aliens. An Exciting Week! ~ Some of you are already aware that I am preparing for a powerful presentation and workshop that I’ll be giving at the ARE Centre here in Virginia Beach on Saturday, 6 September.  It will be so lovely to once again appear at this special centre that was founded by Edgar Cayce and helping to further the message that he brought to the world.  He was, indeed, a pioneer in the realm of psychic phenomena, metaphysics, reincarnation, the Afterlife, healing and consciousness—just to name a few.

Despite the challenges of my having been sent back to this plane all these times (from my NDEs and sickbeds), I feel deeply honoured, nonetheless, to do the work in helping to spread the message that life is eternal and that consciousness is limitless!  It’s infinite!  And when we start to awaken to this truth and discover it within our own being, it’s amazing what comes forth and what we can do as divine beings.

That’s why hosting this radio show, Toward The Light, is invaluable to me—especially when I think of the tremendous guests I’ve had on the show for the past two and a half years … and the ones lined up yet to come.  After hearing their testimonies, what they’ve discovered through their research, education and experiences, and how they’ve integrated all of this into their lives, it’s quite stunning to behold—not to mention downright inspiring!  Just listening to one show has got the potential to change your life forever; and the feedback I’ve received from listeners all over the world has been a testament to this fact.

I’ve always loved reading biographies, because the myriad of stories that people share about their life experiences are so moving and awe-inspiring—just what the human spirit can do and is capable of.  It is enough to take my breath away.  We learn so much by their losses and triumphs, joys and sorrows and their overcoming the greatest odds.  NDE accounts are a very good example of this and that’s why I am pleased to provide a platform upon which people can share the profundity of these life-altering experiences that leave us transformed forever.

I believe that it is important to look upon one another with respect and admiration—even those with whom we do not necessarily resonate—because there is a message here that is serving our growth and evolution.  There’s a tremendous unfolding taking place, an opportunity to learn and grow in ways that we never could have imagined—just by being exposed to the life paths of other human beings … and learning from the lessons and examples they’ve had in their lives.

Paul Elder is going to be my special guest on Sunday and, besides both of us being multiple NDErs, we’ve both got a background in media.  One notable difference between us, however, is that he was a politician; yet his NDEs changed and transformed him completely … and you can read about all of this in his book, Eyes of an Angel.  We’ll be discussing the details of this during the show as well.

Toward The Light, www.TowardTheLight.org, is an organisation founded by Rev. Juliet Nightingale—a mystic and Seer from England—who has been through a number of near-death experiences, (NDEs), as a result of life-threatening illnesses since childhood. In recent years, Nightingale has availed herself to the media for the purpose of furthering study and research on these topics. She’s appeared on various radio programmes, TV, and in newspaper and magazine articles worldwide, as she discusses her experiences and knowledge of near-death/out-of-body experiences and the immortality of the soul.
